| Water Crossing Notes: |
Water crossings were not an issue today. The rocks were not submerged and the water was fairl shallow and calm. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There are recent (to us) yellow blazes and trail maintenance on what I think used to be the bypass to the original trail (this bypass skips two water crossings). Everything looks good. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Saw two extremely well-behaved and happy trail dogs while we were at the outlook by the summit of Hancock. Nice owner, good pups. |

| Comments: |
Only a teeny bit of ice here and there, nothing you couldn't easily step over. We brought our 'spikes, since you never know what to expect up there this time of year, but we didn't need to use them.
Saw what I felt were a ton of people for a Wednesday after Columbus Day. Each year, the 4Ks get more crowded. Everyone was nice and having a good time.
There will be a trip report on my blog at some point this weekend. |
