| Comments: |
Ice didn't start to accumulate until maybe 1/2-3/4 into the trail leading up to Jackson. Ice was intermittent, easily navigated around even w/o traction. Scrambles immediately before summit were icy, but doable.
Definitely still throw traction in the bag.
Jackson summit was clear, mid 20s with a 10mph wind.
Webster cliff trail wasn't icy and trees provide a nice wind break.
Webster Cliff itself was incredible. We were nearly the only ones doing the loop, so we had this spot to ourselves.
Traction and layers are a must, always better to go with than to go without in mixed weather like this.
