Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings on Sabbaday were slightly difficult. I found poles useful to keep balance while checking rocks for traction and stability. No issues on Pine Bend.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Some blowdowns all that were easily stepped over except one large one near bottom of Pine Bend which required crawling over. None of these blowdowns were causing any rerouting of trails.

Comments
Comments: Decided to do a Sabbaday-Pine Bend loop since it had been quite some time since being on Sabbaday. Weather timed perfectly with great views while on top and then seeing the clouds starting to cover same spots once back to car. Staying on trail could be a challenge under headlamps with the trail beds covered in leaves and light blazing on Sabbaday. Sabbaday side was mostly dry higher up while there were some slick, frosty rocks coming down Pine Bend. Very little ice seen. Some conversation with Hiker Ed, Val C, Mark T and others was quite convincing that Sabbaday Brook Tr. was noticeably longer than the posted 4.9 miles. Another nice day out!
