No snow or ice today, save one tiny patch of ice that was easily avoidable. The girls and I had to get this summit early since we had plans for the afternoon. We therefore had Cloud for views...visibility was, perhaps, twenty feet. On our way down, the sun came out, so those who ascended after we did probably had much clearer skies.
We saw five different groups of people coming up as we made our way down. One group had a very friendly, sweet black dog. We were surprised to see this many people midweek after Columbus Day, but it was nice to say hello to everyone. |
