No blowdowns and trails seemed to be in great shape. Sign missing from summit of Jackson. |

Did the Jackson Webster loop with a start time of 9:30 and finish at 2:30. Cold and windy to start with snow beginning on summit of Jackson at 11:30. Snowed rest of trip and the crossing to Webster along the AT was in wintry, and close to blizzard conditions. Wind was 30-40 with gusts and steady snow. Trail became snow covered. Trip from Webster down was much better with light snow and milder winds. No views from either peak and passed several groups heading to Nauman Tent site for the night. |
