| Comments: |
From Friday night into Saturday, there was a dusting of snow above 3,500 feet. Some minor black ice on rocks up on the ridge (light traction would not help). Snow flurries throughout the day moved the snow line (dusting) almost all the way to the base by this evening. Trails were damp from the melting snow, but a ground frost was starting to set up this evening.
Ski trails still not fully mowed, but most novice and intermediate terrain is walkable (do not recommend going straight down the slopes, as the steeps still have deep grass/weeds). Upper mountain snow guns are hosed up and ready to go.
Foliage has reached peak in Waterville Valley. |
