Comments
Comments: probably the best hiking weather all year. cool 40 in the morning, mid 40s with light wind on the ridge, warmed up to mid 60s later on in the day. Visibility was unbelievable, and the foliage down in the valleys was beautiful.

This weather seems to be an outlier, so I would anticipate slicked trails in the colder weather. Even today, I brought micro-spikes JIC
