Comments
Comments: Long trip over the Kinsmans from Reel Brook to the Basin. Saw a moose at the power line cut on the Kinsman Ridge Trail. Kinsman Ridge Trail from Eliza Brook shelter to South Kinsman certainly is steep, bit the first section along Eliza Brook and the cascades is very scenic. I forgot how rough the trail is from North Kinsman to Kinsman Junction. Kinsman Pond Trail is not a lot of fun, in and out of several brooks. Expected large crowds on the summits, but we had the South Kinsman summit all to ourselves. 13.6 miles/9 hours
