Comments
Comments: Trail is in great shape and easy to follow, minor mud in spots. Above 3,000 feet there was a dusting of snow, making the rocks a little slippery in spots, probably mostly melted by now. Took the reroutes up but stuck to the old trail on the way out, if you know where to go it's holding up well. Foliage is starting to look great and the dusting of snow made for a great fall hike. Counted 78 hikers on the trail on our way down! Perfect morning hike with Whitney :)
