From the road I headed up through initially open woods. Eventually, it got steep and thick. I first hit the small bump to the northwest, which was an interesting spot. Avoiding this bump could save you from some cliffs. It was a bit thick heading over to the high-point, which is marked by solid yellow blazes on three trees (trees are small for Xs?).
I saw several hunters near the road and shots were audible. |
