Trail Maintenance Notes: It had been a while since I had been there... and it's amazing how defined and maintained the trail has become.

Dog-Related Notes: There was an unleashed dog on the summit who flushed out a snow shoe hare and the both of them dashed across the summit... one in panic and one in crazed pursuit.

Comments: The hike short, birch glades golden, pace leisurely... lots of time to look for artifacts (phone wire, posts, bits of trash from the fire tower).... lots of fun today.
