Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: There are two water crossings on the Hale brook trail that were fast moving but easily crossed. The Zealand Trail was muddy, wet, with lots of running water but I was able to keep my feet dry. There was a lot of running water on the trail but it wasn't too much of a problem.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail was well maintained, very well marked and easy to follow. Thank you!
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: My 10 lb chihuahua had no problems with the trail and was happy to indulge in some vegetarian chili at the Zealand hut.

Comments
Comments: This is a nice easy/moderate loop with a short road walk. After heavy rains there may be some difficulty crossing the Hale brook and crossing the wetland areas of Zealand trail.
