excellent if you don't mind\d Mother nature's jumble of rocks on upper sections of the trail |

W always up to it, and 3 legged and Dane new to hiking all did fine, and appreciated water from streams lower down. |

| Comments: |
very, very fine day with dry air, sun, and clear views 360; known to be one of the finest summit views around with innumerable peaks and ridges.
jumbled rocks on switchbacks make one think of advantages of a nice snowshoe track (if only there wasn't the road walk in winter)
