Parked @ Appalachia, made it in the lot (at 8:30am)! Upon return to car, many vehicles parallel parked on US-2. Not surprising- BEAUTIFUL Saturday! |

Saw two beautiful dogs who seemed to do terrific on the trails. I am always amazed at how they traverse those boulder-strewn "trails!" |

Y E S ! A large amount of black flies- solely in this one spot very near to the summit of Mt.Madison! It was is there was a SKATFEST in town LOL! It was almost Alfred Hitchcock weird (I have a good imagination! Ha!). |
