| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
A few roadside spots (parking on pavement) at the cup-de-sac at the very end of Jeremy Hill Rd in Pelham. The path you are looking for is not the nice clear one on the left!!!! That goes elsewhere!!!! |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
UGH.... the start of the trail is ABSOLUTELY horrible!!!! There is a sign across the start of the access road saying "No Trespassing" but I have heard that does not apply to foot traffic. At any rate, it is a fair warning to do whatever you can do to avoid the first few hundred yards.... Chest-high prickers, and, when you look down, if you can see your feet at all, you are in a bed of poison ivy. Relentless. Drew a bit of blood. One would do well to run through one of the nearby yards to avoid just the beginning of the trail. I, um, found a way to avoid it on the return. |

| Bugs: |
While I was stuck in the prickers and poison ivy, I got repeatedly attacked by something with a HUGE stinger. I kept swatting my head and eventually it (the bug) died, but, there were others around. If you are allergic, carry an Epi-Pen or equivalent... or go stealth/avoidance mode using some alternative path for the beginning. |

Once past the few hundred yards, it's a really nice short hike to a flattish firepower peak. Fun to see the telephone/power lines and poles all the way to the "summit". Lots of relics on top. Always fun to poke around there!!!! The woods are always super-pleasant there!!!! |
