Date of Hike: Saturday, September 19, 2015
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Very large paved lot; Fee area; Full facilities with flush toilets and running water. Men's room was unusually messy AM with a lot of toilet paper on the floor and a clogged toilet.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All bridged on Lincoln Woods. Crossing 1 mile up Bondcliff was dry. Several small brooks dry or very low. Four crossings of Black Brook easy. First two had very low water (2nd crossing is definitely last water. Plenty of flow). Last two were bone dry.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Great shape. Not many blowdowns, and most were the typical wilderness area step overs. Was one easy duck under somewhere along the way. Some of the railroad ties on Lincoln Woods Trail had spikes that were sticking out high enough to stub a toe or trip.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Fine for dogs.
Bugs
Bugs: Generally nothing. There was a new hatch of some sort of small bee looking bug above treeline but there was enough of a breeze to keep them away.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Single flip flop at the Bondcliff sign where it leaves the road grade and begins to ascend.

Comments
Comments: All trails in great shape: dry, minimal blow downs and no real issues. There were some isolated muddy areas on Bondcliff Trail but they were generally easily avoided. A couple had little bushwhacks. Conditions don't get much better than they are right now.
