Trails are maintained very well. No blowdowns or serious issues. |

Saw a muddy and very happy golden on the summit of North Kinsman. |

I found a multiple use gadget, a fancy Swiss army knife like contraption, on the side summit just off the South Kinsman summit. It looks as if it had been there a while. If it's yours email me and I'll send it off to you. |

Perfect day for a hike up the Kinsmans. The trail was tough. The recent rains have created wet rocks and lots of mud, especially on the upper sections. Hopefully these warm days will dry the trail somewhat. The views from the summits were awesome. Not an easy hike but a rewarding one. |
