Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Since it serves as hut access, the parking area for the Zealand Trail was nearly full even shortly after 6 AM. Would probably be less packed on a weekday. Plan in advance.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes: All bridged or rock-hopped.

Dog-Related Notes: Didn't see many besides the one we brought with us.

Bugs: None until we got to West Bond, which was swarming with them! Fortunately, they weren't biting a whole lot.

Comments: Myself and some Hike-NH forum users raised a flag on West Bond for Flags on the 48 2015. Excellent day, great weather, views, and company! Was also nice to see the reactions of everyone who saw us and our flag equipment, as well as the flag crew. Never forget September 11, 2001...
