Parking lot on Gale River Loop Road was mostly full at 8am with overnighters. |

No problems, water levels very low. |

Two large blowdowns on GRT with herd paths around them, one of them being on the relocation. Some of the rock steps on the GRT steeps were wet, making for slick footing in spots. |

Another climb to Galehead with our crew for Flags on the 48. I hadn't been here in three years and forgot what an easy approach GRT is, until it hits the steeps up to the ridge at the end. Lots of folks at the hut, including guests, AT thru-hikers and peakbaggers. Met the South Twin FOT48 crew at the hut and chatted with them for a bit. |
