Signs and flagging requesting hikers to park before the Y split along road and hike in below Ravine Lodge to access trails. Only 4-6 cars here today. Wales-Carter Connection is a relocated trail replacing lower section of Gorge Brook Tr. that was washed out a few years ago. |

Very (catch the eye) bright orange signage wherever necessary. Trails in great condition. |

Rare "no dogs seen day" today. Minimal water up high which may have changed with last nights rain and Thursday's forecast. |

Some more nicely dry trails with some humidity slickened rocks. Nice grades, gradual steepness makes for lots of enjoyable hiking. |
