For some reason I thought this hike would be a breeze but it kicked my butt. The foot path is somewhat rough and has what seems to be a double fall line in places, especially along the glades that the Kinsman Ridge trail crosses/parallels. I had originally planned on hiking down the ski trails but all of them at the top were roped off. So the only way down is via the Kinsman Ridge trail. Awesome hike though, great day to be out in the mountains. |
