All streams were easy to cross by rock hopping. Tops of rocks were dry. |

I did not see any and would not bring my dog up the Flume Slide trail. This trail IMO might be too steep for dogs. |

A fair amount of black flies on both the summits of Mt Flume and Mt Liberty. |

| Comments: |
Nice hike, trails incredibly dry. Water is limited to the streams at the beginning of the hike and a really small pool at the Liberty Springs tent site. Also the Flume Side trail was completely dry without any sectons covered by water. I can see why this trail is not recommended in wet weather due to its steepness and open rock. Great day to be out on the trails and as usual a great workout. |
