Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Tunnel Brook Tr has room for about three cars along Long Pond Rd. There are a few more spots at the end of the woods road where the trail starts. Not sure if you are supposed to park there though. Plenty of room at Glencliff TH. Tunnel Brook Rd appears to still be closed.

Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All were very low and easy to cross or bridged.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Hurricane Tr had several large blowdowns that will need an axe or large saw, mostly on the west side of the peak. The east side has flagging and recent work can be seen. Few blazes. Gorge Brook and Benton Tr are in great shape. Tunnel Brook Tr enters the woods at the end of Tunnel Brook Rd. There is a hiker sign a few yards into the woods but no trail sign. It's brushy in spots with a few larger blowdowns along the northern half and has few blazes. There are cairns spread out along the northern half.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Hot day for Marlie. Bring plenty of water.
Bugs
Bugs: Still out there especially at lower elevations.
