Trails
Trails: Crawford Path, Webster Cliff Trail
Date of Hike
Date of Hike: Monday, September 7, 2015
Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: There was parking at the Highland Center and surrounding lots... For the end of a holiday weekend, this was nice.
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable
Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Not even an issue but a small reprieve for dogs... It's hot out still. Bring extra water as these are very small.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Three old blow downs on the upper Crawford Path after the junction. Otherwise, it's a decent and well traveled trail... Lots of trash. I packed some out.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Isis was hot today... This tended to slow her down and we took water breaks. This trail is easy for dogs but bring extra water in the still hot weather.
Bugs
Bugs: A few biters but I swatted them.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Someone last a pair of mens boxer briefs. They were hanging on a tree on the upper section of the Crawford Path... Seeing this somehow made me a little upset. Are we that slob like?

Comments
Comments: Today was a good hike clouded by my own mind. And also clouded by the clouds at the summits. It was humid which is not a good combo for me too. Ike was in the clouds and jut not appealing to get to.. We'll save it and go up Edmund's Path which we love. Isis and I enjoyed a lot of moments today.
