Comments
Comments: It is easy to see why some folks end up bushwhacking, as the lower part of the mountain is a giant slash-fest, and finding the right logging slash road to take you to the ATV trail could be hit-or-miss. But we found some bits of flagging, followed them, and around 2000' the slash transitioned to shaded woods and an ATV trail that took us right to the top. When you look at your compass and map, it seems like the ATV path is going in the wrong direction.... but trust it. The trail heads SE, seeming to bypass a direct line to the summit, in favor of following its NE shoulder, in a SW'ly direction back up to the peak.

The summit had a mix of modern trash, broken glass, whirring equipment and artifacts from its long history.

Round trip 2 - 2.5 hours depending on breaks.
