 | Parking/Access Road Notes: |
At the southern Shelburne Trailhead there is parking for just a couple of cars. More parking can be found further down the road at Wild River Campground |
 | Surface Conditions: |
Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Mud, Standing/Running Water on Trail |
 | Recommended Equipment: |
 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All easily crossable, although unless you are an exceptional rock hopper, you will get your feet wet. |
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
As expected, the trails leading to the Carter-Moriah Ridge from the less travelled Wild River side are in need of some maintenance. Quite a few blowdowns and rotten bog bridging. Very overgrown in places as well. |
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
I had to help Madison out in a few places with the steep climb up to North Carter. |
 | Bugs: |
They weren't bad until very late in the day. |

 | Comments: |
The Wild River Trail between the Rainbow Trail Junction and the Eagle Link Trail Junction is a muddy mess. Considering we have had a fairly dry summer, I can only imagine what it would be during a wet summer. |
