Water Crossing Notes: easy rock hops 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in good shape. The path following two of the crossings on the Castle Ravine trail took some effort to find. Otherwise the trail was well blazed. Castle Trail not recently blazed, but easy to follow. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Definitely would not bring fido on Castle Ravine, and there are a few interesting scrambles on Castle Trail he might need help on. Of course the summit of Jefferson is all broken sharp rocks.

Comments: Beautiful day for this loop. Watch for the loose rock climbing the headwall of Castle Ravine.
