they were grading the road today…very dusty |

water levels very low..we took campsite route around blown out lower section to snowmobile bridge |

hot and humid down below without a breath of air..very dry trail. once to the switchbacks there was an occasional breeze which felt delightful. chatted with a couple of thru hikers..decimal and 6-12 ..gave 6-12 a ride to other side of twin as he was getting off trail. views were a bit hazy but a way nicer day than predicted as Ben picked up #40 |
