Busy lot but plenty of room today. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Despite yesterdays rain the Ellis River was easy to cross today. |

| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
There were no blowdowns but the section of trail between D Peak and A Peak is becoming brushy in spots. |

| Dog-Related Notes: |
Bring pleny of water as it is sparce along the ridge. Had a good day of training with the "heel" command. Met one other dog, Raoul, today. |

| Bugs: |
None biting but there were clusters of knats flying around. If one was not paying attention they might suck them in while breathing heavy. |

| Lost and Found: |
Found a penny at the summit of A Peak. |

| Comments: |
Great day for a hike. I started later than I wanted to but still made it back just after the first few rumbles of thunder. The humidity made the rocks damp and some slippery. A rough hike with lots of ups and downs. Saw several people on the trail and many more at the top of the chairlift. |
