Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: N/A.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The brushy end of a limb is covering the Osseo Trail maybe a half mile or so from the LW junction. It is an easy walk around and will be a quickie to take care of. Otherwise the Osseo Trail is in excellent shape.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I saw two. Beyond the low end of the Osseo Trail there isn't much water for Fido...or his owner.
Bugs
Bugs: A few annoying ones at the summit without any breeze.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: Found: a gnarly towel at the summit and a gnarly sock hanging from a tree about half way up the Osseo Trail. Both have been properly disposed of.

Comments
Comments: The Osseo Trail was a pleasure today and only having to walk half of the Lincoln Woods trail was a bonus. Summit views were great with blue skies and just a spot cloud here or there. I spent 90 minutes at the top soaking in the sun and the views. Out of that time at the top I'd guess I had close to an hour total to myself. From the folks I saw and chatted with during my hike only about 10 others took this trail. I fully expected many more but that's just fine by me.
