The Beaver Brook Trail to the summit of Mossilauke was in very good condition and lives up to its reputation as being very challenging. The only tricky part of the hike was descending because a rain shower turned any dirt on the stairs into mud making them slippery. Otherwise just the usual White Mountain rocks and roots. Definitely a great workout! For anybody who wants to be challenged, the Beaver Brook Trail is the place to go. At the trailhead there were some folks performing trail magic and had a cooler full of cold of drinks! I had two gatorades and went on my way. Awesome mojo!!! |
