Comments
Comments: Plan B hike as the pressies were in the clouds; cloud cover most of the day but high above these peaks did leave nice views and also helped keep temps very comfortable. nice loop - Up 19MB and out north carter/imp using the cutoff through camp dodge and a short 1/4 mile road walk. all trails had usual spots of mud so you boots are getting dirty. Few spots of running water most noticeable on north carter and imp. Forgot how rocky that stretch of the imp trail is heading down - much nicer in the winter! Views of the pressies in the clouds from the ledges below Middle and nice expansive views out over the Wild river wilderness and Evans notch area from the ledges on Lethe just past middle. Lots of traffic on 19MB coming down from the Hut, was alone on Carter dome until Zeta pass where I met a person that had come up from imp face. Carter Moriah between Zeta and Middle carter was surprisingly crowded - met more than a dozen heading in both directions. A great day out!
