Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Whiteface river (on McCrillis tr) crossing easy. Wonalancet river (on Tom Wiggin tr) also easy, though I crossed barefoot...and it felt great!
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Quite a few large trees down on the top 1.5 miles of McCrillis Tr. The "trail closed" sign is missing on McCrillis Path (someone wrote in pencil...."dead end, trail ends in 3/4 mile") on the wooden board, but it is easy to miss.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: saw one, he/she looked warm!
Bugs
Bugs: some mosquitos and deer flies on the first part of Flat Mtn. Pond trail. One tick made the ride home.

Comments
Comments: McCrillis trail was a great treat, what a wonderful trail. Some of the rocks up higher are a bit slick as they are not walked on all that much.

Tom Wiggin Trail - is signed as "steep and loose, not recommended" and the bruise on my butt would have to agree!! Just have to take it slow if going down that one!

Too bad the McCrillis Path is closed, but the 0.9 that is open is a beautiful walk.
