Lucy did excellent hiking Mount Washington for the first time. The trails are rugged above treeline so keep a close eye on the pads as bigger dogs could have issues. |

Trails are in great shape. There is one blowdown on the lower end of the Ammo trail that you can duck under or walk around. It'll probably be cleared soon I'd think. This was a nice day on the rock pile. Whitney's friends and their dog made their first climb of Washington and did great. We got to see the old coal train head up the tracks from across the ravine which is always cool to see. Clouds came rolling in and out throughout the day and there was no wind. Lucy the dog was fun to hike with :) |
