| Parking/Access Road Notes: |
Surprised to see so many parties setting out when we hiked into the tentsite at 9:30 PM. Lincoln Woods lot was not crowded when we left this morning at 9:30 AM due to the wet weather. |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
All crossings on Bondcliff Trail were quite manageable. My crew had camped at Franconia East Tentsite Friday night, and the crossing of the East Branch with a dog in my arms and a pack on my back was pretty interesting. I can't say I recommend that for everyone. |
|
| Trail Maintenance Notes: |
All in all the trail was in good shape with no formidable blow-downs. Just some step-overs and duck-unders. |
|
| Dog-Related Notes: |
Oscar had one mishap just below treeline on a steep, nearly vertical scramble. My buddy climbed up ahead of him and he eagerly tried to follow. Let's just say he didn't choose the best route up. But the soggy conditions allowed Oscar plenty of drinking opportunities well past the last sure water 3.7 mi into Bondcliff trail. |
