Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: The parking lot was 3/4 full at 8 am and overflowing at 2:30 with 6 cars north of the bridge. 
Surface Conditions
Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All three crossings of the Little River were rock hoppable so today I stayed on the trail proper. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple small trees down on North Twin Tr. Easy to get over/around. Some water bars are almost sited in. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy hike for Marlie today. Lots of streams and puddles but as always, bring water for your pup. 
Bugs
Bugs: Not bad. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There was a towel and an LL Bean hoody at the first crossing. Wet and VERY heavy. 
 
Comments
Comments: The clouds never quite lifted but views to the valleys were plentiful. We spent nearly an hour on the summit of South Twin watching the clouds pass. I completed my July grid on North Twin then continued to South just because. Another wonderful day in the woods with Marlie.
