Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: All three crossings of the Little River were rock hoppable so today I stayed on the trail proper.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: A couple small trees down on North Twin Tr. Easy to get over/around. Some water bars are almost sited in.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Easy hike for Marlie today. Lots of streams and puddles but as always, bring water for your pup.
Bugs: Not bad.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There was a towel and an LL Bean hoody at the first crossing. Wet and VERY heavy.
Comments: The clouds never quite lifted but views to the valleys were plentiful. We spent nearly an hour on the summit of South Twin watching the clouds pass. I completed my July grid on North Twin then continued to South just because. Another wonderful day in the woods with Marlie.
