Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: A couple of small ones at the start - no issues today.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trail is in great shape. It is obvious the trail is well cared for.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: I almost felt like I was at a dog park at the summit - there must have been a half dozen during my stay.
Bugs
Bugs: No issues today.
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: FOUND: a LOT of trash! Beer cans, bottle caps, foil, wrappers, tissues, etc. I packed out a total of 16 pieces. I guess the block party on Tripoli Road spills onto the trail. Come on people!!

Comments
Comments: I decided to hike 'the other side' of the Mount Tecumseh Trail from Tripoli Road. Sure: for an out-n-back it's a bit longer than from the ski area and you have to climb the West Peak twice which adds a bit more elevation. However I found this approach very enjoyable and more interesting than the other side of the trail.

Not too much in terms of views today from either peak. There were close to 20 others at the summit when I left with more coming in. On the flip side I had the West Peak all to myself on both passes and got to throw my feet in the brook on the way out. Very nice!
