With the weather looking poor for Saturday, we did our Seek The Peak hike a day early, and it was a spectacular day for this route, which puts you above treeline for a very long time. Boott Spur was a first for me, and it was a great route, rugged with tremendous views and hardly any traffic! A very quiet way to climb Washington. We only passed a few people all day. Due to our late start, we were planning on a ride down. As we were arranging it through personal connections with OBS, a very kind couple offered to drive us down. Thank you! |
