What a gorgeous day for a hike. Very few people on the ascent. I highly recommend taking the Subway on King Ravine, it was fun weaving in and out of the caves (not good for large packs or dogs). The ascent to Adams from the Airline was rugged, ascent to Madison was much easier. While Howker Ridge Trail was a long way down, it was lovely as we got towards Bumpus Brook and the falls. |
