Comments
Comments: I went into this hike knowing it would be a short two hour hike to the top. Got to the lot at 8 30 and reached the summit by 10 45. This trail is decently tricky. Lot's of steep sections with wet granite, loose gravel, slightly root systems, sink holes, and generally difficult footing. The 2 miles to the top is short, but not easy. Decent was easier I found.

Spent a good two hours napping and eating on the summit ledge facing Franconia Ridge. Absolutely gorgeous day. Not many hikers, saw maybe ten in total from Lonesome and Tramway. Maybe 50 people took the tram to the summit. Didn't realize that the tram terminus at the summit includes a bar, cafe, restrooms, and water!

Descent took me a little over an hour.
