Parking/Access Road Notes: At 3pm only 1 other car at Cabot trailhead, 2 cars still at Hatchery gate.

Water Crossing Notes: Rock hopping in the afternoon after 2pm downpours 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Bunnell Notch Trail is marked for upcoming trail improvements at wet areas. Thank you to whomever recently cut back the grasses/bushes along sides of lower trail to make trail much more visible.

Dog-Related Notes: No dogs out today 
Bugs
Bugs: Lots of mosquitos & flies, typical for area & time of year. Needed my bug repellent for first 3 miles of hike. Actually used my sunglasses to keep bugs out of my eyes.

Comments: Trail was fairly dry on way up at 9am but at 2pm downpours made the Bonnell Notch trail into a river. Saw only 2 other solo hikers and a small party of 3 all day. Mondays are the day to hike!
