Comments
Comments: The Link between Castle and Caps is rough, as described in the guide. Nothing too bad, just lots of roots, holes, and some rocks to scramble over. The cornice is rough in places too (tough rock hopping). Neither was too bad while wet. Caps ridge was not too bad while wet, but I would not want to have gone down the sections between the link and the cornice (I was going up that part). I was shocked to hike Jefferson in okay weather, in July, and not see anyone.
