 | Water Crossing Notes: |
All water Crossings were rock hopable on either bare rock or submerged rock. I also chose to use water shoes because, it's hot and I wanted to cool my feet. :) |
|
 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
The usual leaners and blow down. Nothing new that I noted. |
|
 | Dog-Related Notes: |
Isis had a good day to start out. It was a long day for her and there is very little water above tree line so bring enough. She was very tired and enjoyed a snooze at each peak. |
|
 | Bugs: |
Yes... Buzzing but not biting. |
|
 | Lost and Found: |
Some where on this 3 day adventure, I lost Isis' collar. It has her tag on it with my address. Mail it back? |

This area is so well traveled that there is not much to note in terms of trails. This is a long and hard hike. You earn these three summits. One disappointment is to get to Bond Cliff for that "iconic shot" and find a group camped out on the actual summit. Please, move off the summit proper so that people can get that hard fought shot. Not a whole lot of water above tree line so it you are doing a day hike, bring plenty. I stayed just below West Bond and had a nice sunset on the summit proper of West Bond. A great way to end night one. |
