Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Not as busy today as a nice (non-fourth) weekend day would've been.

Recommended Equipment
Recommended Equipment:
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Crossings all rock hoppable but there was one rock (saying step here) that shifted and it was nice having poles to keep balance and dry feet. I believe it was on the 2nd crossing. As Waumbek mentioned in recent report the crossing on the (old Wilderness Tr. section) of the Bondcliff Tr. flows underground now. Curious whether this was naturally done or human aided.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Trails in nice condition. One blowdown on West Bond Spur and lower Bondcliff Tr. had one major mud pit being rerouted around.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Water available until about 15 minutes from top of Bondcliff and very scarce above. I've never seen a dog posing for photo at the Bondcliff spot; probably been done though.
Bugs
Bugs: Skeeters were biting where the Bondcliff Tr. departs from the railroad grade below. I used repellant and was not bothered and only heard one hiker mention bugs (on West Bond summit).
Lost and Found

Comments
Comments: Lower parts of Bondcliff Tr. were still fairly wet and muddy. Upper areas mostly dry. Counted over 100 hikers doing something with the Bonds today. All agreed that it was near perfect hiking weather today.
