Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of space in the early AM...mostly full in the PM.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Easily manageable even though recent rains continue to keep the area quite wet. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: As mentioned in previous trail reports, some good mud in the new trail re-route but overall things in decent shape considering wet conditions. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Some happy dogs today...one a little shy. 
Bugs
Bugs: Cool conditions with an early start kept bugs to minimum, a few buzzing around at the Hut but still manageable, breezes helped in the PM on the way down...hard to believe but NO DEET today.

Lost and Found: Nothing today 
 
Comments
Comments: Following the Gale River today brings back some great memories. A lush green trail with wonderful stream cascades everywhere. Therapeutic and relaxing. Then great views at Hut from the NW Pemi-Wilderness. Just another great day in the Whites :)
