Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Plenty of parking in trailhead lot off Magalloway Road. Road in good shape - washouts nonexistant this year!!! Saw a big black bear along the road but it jumped out of the way quickly probably due to hearing the only choice of Canadian/American music radio station available on my car radio.

Water Crossing Notes: bog bridges were very slippery

Trail Maintenance Notes: recent trailwork on bottom half of Bobcat Trail to remove blowdowns, but, VERY muddy as it was last year along the bottom of the Bobcat Trail

Comments: Excellent views from firetower and the backside of the mountain from the Overlook Trail - one of my favorite spots overlooking the scree fields! Descent via Bobcat is always special - really nice trail until the bottom flats which are very muddy and slippery.
