Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Some crossings of Oliverian Brook and its major tributaries were wet boot crossings as hoppable rocks were not present and water was kind of high due to rain the previous day. These crossings gave us a chance to rinse some of the mud off our boots. Other crossings were rockhops.
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: There were a few blowdowns but these did not pose a serious problem as they could be stepped over, and one, I recall, was a duckunder. Some parts of Square Ledge Trail and the less frequently used parts of Oliverian Brook Trail could use some brushing.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: A few mosquitoes and a few blackflies. Not a serious annoyance.
