Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: We arrived at 7:30am and there was plenty of space but the parking lot was totally full by the time we came off around 2:30pm.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Mud - Significant

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: We counted about 9 water crossings; easily traversable. Some areas of the trail are wet and muddy in the lower portions.

Trail Maintenance Notes: Some blow down but easy to navigate around

Dog-Related Notes: Saw a few dogs on the trail

Bugs: They were worse on the South Summit

Comments: We had a fantastic day ! Very easy hike in for the first couple of miles and then the steepness begins once you hit the Hancock Loop Trail cut off.
