Water Crossing Notes: no crossings
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Mittersill Hiking Trail is blazed occasionally but unmarked from Mittersill Chairlift. This hiking trail is rumored to be closed due to ski trail widening/construction on Mittersill but there were no signs restricting hiking. We just ascended via the best route through widened ski trails and bulldozed access road.
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes:
Bugs
Bugs: Absolutely terrible. Black flies. Voracious!!!! Focused at about 3000' and above. Luckily, there was a breeze on the summit so they weren't too bad there. I got a free ankle bracelet of bites at my sock line - SWEET!!!! :(

Comments
Comments: EXCELLENT hike with Hiker Ed & Hiking Guy - very fun day!!!! Terrific views! Recent logging on MIttersill for ski trail widening - will be nice to ski there if it isn't restricted to racing full time. Crowded at summit and excellent odors of fried food - YUMMY!! Gotta love a 4K with a bar on top!!!!
