Parking/Access Road Notes: No parking issues at the Flume Visitor Center.

Surface Conditions: Dry Trail, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Mud - Minor/Avoidable

Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: The Flume Slide had plenty of stream crossings but none that were too difficult. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: The trail was well maintained. Muddy at times. 
Dog-Related Notes
Dog-Related Notes: Many friendly dogs along the trail down Liberty. 
Bugs
Bugs: Barely any. 
Lost and Found
Lost and Found: There was a sweater hanging on a sign at the trailhead when we left, still there when we got back. 
 
Comments
Comments: It was a perfect day. The Flume Slide Trail lived up to it's name and was a good challenge. I would never ever want to hike down that; like they say it's meant to be the beginning trail of the loop. The views were fantastic at both peaks.
